RED RIBBON CLUB

Red Ribbon Club of our college organizes awareness camps on AIDS and Blood Donation at regular intervals. It aids in equipping youth with correct information on HIV/AIDS Prevention, Treatment, Care and Supporting. It also educates to make HIV/AIDS free INDIA by creating awareness about the spread and cause of HIV/AIDS among the student youth, non-student youth and public. To prepare youth as peer educators/agents of change both among youth as well as society at large by developing their skills on leadership, advocacy, communication and team building.

Activities conducted during the academic year 2023 - 2024

• The RRC unit of our college organized a poster competition with the theme "Empowering Communities to Take the Lead" aimed at raising HIV/AIDS awareness among young students on World AIDS Day 2023.
• The RRC unit furthered HIV/AIDS awareness among the general public by organizing a human chain event adorned with posters advocating "Empowering Communities to Lead" on 15.12.2023.
• In collaboration with Subha Homeo Clinic, the RRC unit of VCW organized a program on 23.02.2024 to promote awareness about women's health and provide information about homeopathy.
