Eco Club

Eco club activities of the college helps in creating awareness and education among the members about environmental issues. It helps in Promoting Greener practices and help in Waste Reduction and Recycling. They aid in conserving and coloborate sustainable living thereby encouraging eco-friendly lifestyles.

Eco Club of the college plays a major role in creating awareness among the students to create an Eco-friendly environment not only inside the college, outside the college but in the neighbourhood also.

Activities during the academic year 2023 - 2024

• The Eco club Committee of our college, in collaboration with "Mega Charitable Trust," organized a fruit-bearing tree planting programme as part of the "Plant a Billion Tree" project on 17.08.2023. Ms. Anantha Lakshmi Chikkam, CEO and founder of "Mega Enterprises" and head of the "Plant a Billion Tree" project, served as the chief guest, donating approximately 50 fruit-bearing tree saplings to the college.
• The eco club of our college arranged an "Eco-Friendly Ganesha Chaturthi" celebration on 16.09.2023, at 09:00 am in SJH Hall. Students from our college crafted eco-friendly Ganesha idols.
• The Eco Club at our college organized an interdepartmental competition titled "Design a Cover Page for our College Magazine" on 15.02.2024. Its aim was to nurture students' creativity in magazine cover design, as it plays a crucial role in reader engagement. Thirty-five innovative cover page designs were exhibited at SJH Hall.
