Valliammal has been in the field of education for the past 37 years. In this last decade, my father former Chairman Thiru Arivudai Nambi, had the dream of putting together an authentic, vibrant and reliable institute operating in a region surrounded by the Chennai IT hub, contributing bountifully to Research of Life Science and churning out fresh talents for the Corporate World and Banking Sector.
I experience a feeling of great satisfaction to be a part of VCW which was moulded at every step by my forefathers and handed over to me to take it to ecclesiastic heights and make their dreams into a reality. We started our college with the vision of providing quality education to rural and urban women youth. Robust infrastructure, well equipped laboratories, focus on quality education, industry interaction, boosting academic performance through institute scholarships, keen interest in research, faculty development and continuous improvements are the hallmarks of our institute.
The college provides the space for various activities like sports, arts, martial art forms, etc. It also provides a student-friendly environment to make the learning process much easier and enjoyable.
Out of box thinking and innovative approaches are important qualities for students. We are aiming at developing world-class professionals to fulfil the demands of the fast-paced industries. At VCW, we provide a conducive environment for young LEARNERS to be creative, learn analytical tools to solve problems and express themselves freely. I am sure that we will achieve our mission with the cooperation and team work of every member of VCW.
