Founder’s Ideology

The beginning of an ‘Adventure in faith’ Faith in our past, present and future led a multifaceted personality, a philanthropist and excellent administrator to lead from the front and willingness to explore newer vistas led our founder Aa. Mu. Pa., as he is fondly known started a small School which stemmed into two schools and pristine Valliammal College for Women in the heart of the city to impart quality higher education to empower women of all walks of life. It was aimed at ‘reintegration of Indian culture in the light of modern knowledge to suit our present day needs and resuscitate our fundamental values in their pristine glory.’

He is a ‘God Father’ in the eyes of the teachers and students of this mammoth group of educational institutions. This prodigy has proved his incessant quest for learning even during his initial years of schooling. His dream reflects in our college emblem which is bearing the picture of Traditional Lamps, a Book and a Lotus is interestingly inducing our thoughts. The college is dedicated to the women young learners with the sole intention of not only imparting education, but also to teach them the principles to lead a better life with peace and pleasure just as the shining lamps in the emblem. The Book in the emblem stands for the importance of education for women.
