The Department of Biotechnology

  • The Department of Biotechnology was established with PG program in 2005 and UG program in 2008 to create Research oriented inter disciplinary ideas in the field of Biotechnology.
  • Biotechnology deals with the scientific basics of Biology and Technology which involves molecular approaches in Bioinformatics, Genetic Engineering, Immunology, Molecular biology and Genetics.
  • Due to persistent improvement, the department could maintain the UG and PG enrolment with 100%.
  • The Department Produces Top 10 University Ranks every year in both UG and PG level.
  • Teaching is imparted by dedicated, well experienced, highly Qualified, University approved faculty who actively engaged in teaching and research.
  • The Department has spacious separate labs for Tissue culture, Molecular Biology, Bioprocess Technology with sophisticated instruments.
  • The Department organises Seminar, Workshops, Industrial visit and Interdepartmental events.
  • Our department provides outstanding opportunities for students in Pharmaceutical companies, Research Institutes and in Diagnostic Laboratories.
  • Our students got placed in IIT, Fertility clinics, Governments sectors and have taken up higher studies in abroad.
