  • The Department of Biochemistry was established in the year 1992 and the PG course was introduced in the year 1994.
  • The department produces top ten University Ranks consistently both in UG and PG levels.

  • The department has spacious separate UG and PG labs with sophisticated instruments to cater to the need of the students.

  • The students are placed in Food & Bio-material production, Forensic Science, Diagnostic labs, Public Health Labs, or as Clinical Scientists, Proof Readers, Science Writers, Health and safety inspectors and many more.
  • Awareness about Competitive exams like CSIR-UGC, ICMR, AGRI – NET, Many State and Central government exams are given to students for research and job opportunities.
